Many familiar faces from Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Poland and the USA gathered to talk shop, screw things together and, of course, to ride.

Some new riders ("rookies") also gained their first track time and cut a very good figure from a standing start.

On Saturday morning, after the obligatory and compulsory drivers' briefing, it was time to hit the track at 9am, which was always well preheated in the summer temperatures.

Experienced drivers found the odd millisecond and the rookies were able to familiarize themselves even more with the track after the first training session the day before.

The best time in the following qualifying session determined the starting grid position for the first race.

12-13h lunch break - absolute engine rest -

The first race of the first group started at 1pm sharp.

Great and botched starts, thrilling duels, crashes caused by others and by the riders themselves, close decisions, commanding victories and lots of spectators accompanied the field of riders throughout the day.

Three races per class were held in total.

Thanks to the smooth running of the event, the schedule allowed for a one-hour endurance race afterwards.

Two drivers take it in turns to drive for around 30 minutes each in order to collect as many laps as possible and then take home the trophy.

Of course, there are always technical failures during the day. Here you help together, repair what can be saved, or simply park the car because nothing works anymore.

No matter what; with the black and white checkered flag, after the award ceremony (daily classification and championship 2024) we move on to the cozy part.

Barbecuing, sitting together and ending the day with a party, which always takes place at some tent castle.

Thanks to Daniela Bumen & team for the great organization, to the many helping hands and to all riders and spectators for coming and cheering us on.
