This is pressed into the housing and additionally glued.
The existing bore of the shift shaft in the engine housing is reamed to the outer dimension of the bushing. In order to be able to press in the bushing, ream the bore approx. 1-2/100ths smaller than the bushing (reamer). In addition, a shoulder should be milled with a countersink in which the collar of the bushing can be countersunk. Thus the bushing is flush with the outside of the engine housing. For additional security, insert the bushing with a suitable construction adhesive (Loctite 603 or 648).
