Mr. Hyde
exhaust systems have become true bestsellers for the Vespa GTS and are now absolute eye-catchers at every gathering. Their unique selling point: They’re adjustable while riding and remain fully legal even when open! This is made possible by an automatic control unit that’s directly linked to the engine management system, monitors the RPM, and adjusts the exhaust fully automatically as needed. This allows the rider to freely choose the desired mode—whether closed, half-open, or, of course, open—nearly 99% of the time, while enjoying an absolutely unmistakable, brilliant sound.

The enormous success and rapidly rising demand show that these systems strike a chord with the community. But the team isn’t resting on its laurels; instead, it’s already looking ahead: Intensive development is currently underway in the Netherlands for a brand-new version designed specifically for the 125cc class. Anyone who’s already had a chance to catch a glimpse—or a listen—to the first prototypes knows that the legendary, robust sound of the larger models is seamlessly preserved—a real highlight for all smaller-displacement bikes.
If everything goes according to plan, the team is aiming for a premiere next spring to bring the new 125cc systems to market on time. Of course, a stop at the Scooter Center Open Day on April 17 to showcase the innovations live on site.
