The Vespa community not only knows how to enjoy life on two wheels, but also how to step up when help is urgently needed. A recent event organized by Scooter Rider Costa Blanca in Alcoy. A total of 110 passionate Vespa enthusiasts gathered to rack up kilometers together—all for a truly noble cause.
The main goal of the group ride through the picturesque province of Alicante was to draw attention to an often-overlooked condition: myalgic encephalomyelitis (also known as chronic fatigue syndrome / ME/CFS).
This wonderful initiative was launched and tirelessly driven forward by Jordi Linares and Mónica Lys. Thanks to their excellent organization in the run-up to the event, the gathering not only served as a forum for like-minded people to connect but also provided a clear boost to the cause: During the event, targeted donations were collected to actively support private and independent research into this serious illness.
For us at Scooter Center, supporting such initiatives from the global scene is a matter very close to our hearts. We’re proud to support initiatives like these. Because they prove once again that our community goes far beyond just the shared joy of riding.
When the scooter scene comes together, it not only strengthens solidarity on the road through fun and camaraderie but also takes on social responsibility for the health and well-being of others.
A huge thank you to Scooter Rider Costa Blanca, Jordi, Mónica, and all 110 participants for this wonderful show of solidarity!
thank you Turismoenvespa for making it possible
