For us, it started at Scooter Center as a strategic trip. But with every single kilometer, it turned into something much bigger: a journey among friends, among family. We experienced the global scooter brotherhood firsthand, soaked up the fascinating culture, sampled the fantastic food, greeted the sunrises together, and rode side by side into the twilight.
We laughed—exhausted from a long trip with a thousand stops—only to be left speechless the next moment as we marveled at the breathtaking beauty of Indonesia. We rode as one. Any occasional sprints on the road were always marked by friendly rivalry.
Leading the pack was Dekjaw safely led the group thanks to his vast route experience, while Angaa kept a watchful eye at the rear of the column to ensure that no one was left behind. Regina, Alfi, Iqbal, Rangga, and Bagas skillfully weaved their way through all the Vespas and Lambrettas to capture the best shots from the craziest angles.
Meanwhile, Choky cruised leisurely through the heavy traffic on his beautiful Lambretta Li, passing hundreds of trucks. By his side: Imam, who represented Lambro in the best possible way. Adhi from Chix Scooter Racing stayed completely calm—he knows full well that true top speed belongs on the racetrack; an absolute role model on the road!
At every stop, Catur was the one who had everyone laughing. With his fantastic sense of humor, he represented the modern Vespas and Royal Alloys: Bellisimo. Also, Abraham was on the starting line with us. Although he has a wealth of two-wheeled experience, he was riding a Vespa for the very first time ever during the first few kilometers of the tour. Thanks to his experience, it was, of course, a piece of cake for him.
Sella took such good care of us with so much love and attention; thanks to her recommendations, we got to enjoy the best food Indonesia has to offer. The girl power was further bolstered by Gadissev and Gita, whose style was reflected not only in their look but also in their impressive driving skills.
Speaking of style: Fachrie perfectly captures the essence of style and performance. On his gorgeous PX is a phrase that says it all: “The secret to happiness is freedom.” The pure soul vibe was embodied by Sony, the Soul Brothers . And the beaming faces of Rifal from Ride Bolder warmed our hearts every time we met them—what a beautiful, happy couple we immediately took to our hearts!
To ensure our scooters ran so smoothly in the first place, Ferdy, Chix’s incredible mechanic, was constantly on the job, keeping the machines in perfect working order. Dony, too, never left our side and enriched the entire tour with his positive energy.
And then there’s Andi —definitely the boss! His main job was to keep everyone happy, and he mastered that task with flying colors.
Rifki ensured flawless logistics and Cross City Hospitality Rifki. And what hospitality it was! During our visit to Cirebon, we were welcomed by Arun and the Cirebon Vespa Community. The warmth of his club literally knew no bounds: thanks to him, we were given a private tour of the Museum of Relics and Treasures of Cirebon, which culminated in an audience with the prince. We felt deeply honored by this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
In Tegal, we were welcomed by the guys from Motion Movement Tegal with an awesome selection of music. They brought the Siaxsiux Tegal Scooter, Swasembada Vespa Tegal, Askip from the Tegal Scooter Community, Aldy—the owner of the BlauwKof Tegal Café—and finally Askipan motopart —who are now proud members of the Scooter Center dealer family!
On the third day, one of the most spectacular backdrops ever awaited us: for the perfect photo, we headed out in front of the massive volcano in Wonosobo.
When we finally arrived in Yogyakarta, it was time to say goodbye at the hotel—but only for a little while! Because a spectacular weekend at the JSP was right around the corner... (Get excited now for the blog post we’ll be dedicating to this amazing event!)
