Scooter Center on the road in Bangkok - Scootersquare, Benz Vespa and co

Bangkok - the Vespa and Lambretta Eldorado

Anyone visiting Bangkok will inevitably find themselves in a scooter wonderland. Workshops, dealers and collectors can be found all over the city. Before our trip ended, we took a closer look at some of these hotspots.

Around the National Stadium

First, we visited Scootersquare, a real institution in Bangkok. Owner Choosak and his son Natthapong are known for their passion for classic scooters. They used to be the official Thai importer for LML. Today, they reliably supply the scene with spare parts and accessories - including from BGM, of course. However, they have been making our mouths water for years: their showcases contain beautiful old NOS parts that are strictly not for sale. Look yes, buy no - a perfect place for transfigured glances and mild suffering.

Reproductions with a claim - from Bangkok to the SC shelf

From Scootersquare, we continued on foot to our friend Pornchai Autoparts. The owner, Mong, is also a dedicated Vespa fan. He specializes in organizing high-quality reproductions of Vespa parts in Thailand - many of which now find their way into the Scooter Center range.

Superthaivespashop - Malossi in Bangkok

Our last visit around the National Stadium took us to Superthaivespashop (Superscootershop). They are the official Malossi importer for Thailand and their store is truly impressive: meticulous tidiness, a fantastic display and a workshop where you could literally eat off the floor. An absolute highlight for any scooter enthusiast!

On to West Bangkok - visit to Benz Vespa

For our last scooter stop, we left the city center and headed to the west of Bangkok. The impressive Benz Vespa workshop was waiting for us there - an insider tip that we owe to Stefan from the Oldies Works Garage in Chiang Mai (VW restorations).

We were warmly welcomed and given a detailed tour of the workshop and the private collection. Once again, we were extremely impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness of the work here. We were particularly pleased with the old Scooter Center Posters on the walls - a nice moment of solidarity across continents

. Fully assembled engines everywhere bore witness to the high workload, and the numerous trophies in the exhibition clearly showed that Benz Vespa not only restores excellently, but also successfully participates in scooter races. A real flagship for the Thai scene

To be continued!

Super interessant,- spannend was dort so alles produziert wird. Insbesondere das Thema Felgen ist krass!
