K1 Rookies by Scooter-Attack

The K1 Rookies class was a successful start for the EST's junior division. Noah Siemer showed a flawless performance across both heats and secured maximum points with two heat wins. It was Siemer's first podium in his time at the EST. Behind him, a close battle developed for the other podium places. Döll had a promising start, but had to retire disappointed in the second race after a crash while trying to take second place. Tim Zimmermann was able to take advantage of this opportunity, narrowly beating Mario Costanzo with a strong second run. The rest of the field also fought for every position right to the end, underlining the high level of competition in the
rookie class.

K2 Scooter

The K2 class presented itself with an unusually close field of riders and exciting battles for position. There was a three-way battle for the top spot between Brüggeshemke, Triebs and Schoon. In the end, Brüggeshemke made a perfect start to the new season with two race wins. Marcel Triebs kept the pressure on Brüggeshemke at all times, battling tire for tire, but had to let him go in the end. The third-placed driver also deserves special mention. Last year's champion in the Rookies class, his ascent continues. Third place in the first race in Ala for Tammo Schoon was the battle for third place, in which Tammo Schoon laid the foundation for the podium with a strong first race.

K3 Expert by Scooter-Attack

The K3 Expert class offered motorsport at the highest level right from the start of the season. Sauro, who had already demonstrated his full strength against the field of drivers in 2024, traveled from Italy. But Hungarian veteran Attila Gaspar had something against him. As did Noah Lequeux from Luxembourg. Lequeux was competing in the EST class on a scooter for the first time and made an impressive debut. He dominated the weekend impressively with almost galactic speed. The technical package on which Lequeux was riding worked almost perfectly. However, the competition was also technically strong, meaning that luck did not play into the hands of every rider. The weekend was particularly bitter for champion Lukas. After a heavy crash on lap seven, the race had to be stopped. The race was restarted and Sauro got the perfect restart. He took the lead at lightning speed and fought thrilling duels with Lequeux. However, Sauro started out of contention as his car did not fully comply with the regulations.
In the end, only nuances separated the two technically and driving-wise. Lequeux put in a remarkable performance and secured victory in the second and third races. Race two in particular developed into a real heart-stopping finale. Lap after lap, Sauro and Lequeux battled wheel-to-wheel for the lead. Initially Sauro was in front, but Lequeux knew exactly when to strike and cleverly pulled away in the middle section of the race. There was also a fierce battle for the podium places behind the two leading riders. Attila Gaspar impressed with great consistency and strong duels, while Henning Grass, the best German rider, shone with impressive speed, especially in the first run.

K4 Scooter

Markus Dürr was the only starter in the K4 class this weekend. Nevertheless, he showed a concentrated and faultless performance across both runs and used the season opener to pick up important points for the championship.

K5 Pitbike Stock by Scooter-Attack

The K5 Pitbike Stock class featured thrilling duels and a tight field of riders across both races. Henning Grass got the season off to the perfect start and secured full points with two race wins. Michael Kaufmann impressed with consistency and clever race management, while Florian Schweizer made it onto the podium with a strong second race.

K6 GP Open by NIBBI

In the K6 GP Open, Johannes Batsch made an early statement in the championship battle. With two commanding race wins, he left the competition with hardly any options. Lars Weissensee collected important points for the overall standings with two second places. However, the performance of 23-year-old Nina Castellano (
) deserves a special mention, as she held her own against strong competition right at the start of the season and secured an impressive podium finish in third place.

K7 Beginners by NIBBI

The beginner class impressively confirmed its positive development of recent years. The new regulations ensured a balanced and accessible field of drivers, in which many new talents were able to prove themselves in racing for the first time. Moritz Ritze Siemer came out on top in an exciting race against Adam Friedek, who also set the fastest race lap. Emma Ehringer completed the podium after a strong performance.

K8 endurance race - class 8

The endurance race in class 8 turned into a real thriller. After three hours of racing, VART by MCKT came out on top by a wafer-thin margin against Pumba Racing Team. Both teams completed the same number of laps, with only a minimal time advantage being decisive in the end. Braschlessracing also put in an impressive race with a consistently strong performance over the entire distance.

K8 endurance race - class 9

Class 9 also offered top-class endurance racing. Pitlane Cruiser 1 prevailed against CL-Racing after an intense three-hour race. The high level of consistency of both teams over the entire race distance was particularly impressive. APEX deservedly secured third place with a flawless performance.


The season opener in Ala impressively demonstrated how much the European Scooter Trophy and European Pitbike Trophy have developed. Full starting fields, new talent, close racing and top-class motorsport made for an all-round successful race weekend in Italy. After the first round, it is already clear that the 2026 season promises excitement in all classes right up to the final.
