Summertime is travel time. Have you ever worried on a scooter tour that you won't be able to get to the next filling station with the remaining fuel in the tank? Have you ever run out of gas on your scooter? We know the problem and have therefore looked around for a solution - and found one: Today we would like to introduce you to a useful addition to your on-board tools:
Extremely compact and practical transport reserve canisters
Our Hünersdorff spare canisters "Made in Germany", can usually be filled quite normally at the petrol station with the nozzle and, with their volume of one liter or two liters and three liters, offer a certain degree of safety to reach the next open petrol station.
Spare canister one liter
Extremely practical for the 1 liter FuelFriendthe two side straps are extremely practical for attaching the spare canister securely to the scooter. On a Vespa or Lambretta, for example, under or on the seat, on a Vespa GTS or Gilera Runner, for example, in the luggage compartment and, depending on the vehicle, it can also be attached under the fairing or to the frame. No matter where, there are no limits to your creativity thanks to the straps.
Very sturdy fuel canisters
All FuelFriend canisters are very sturdy - it feels like they have twice the wall thickness of a standard petrol station reserve canister and cannot be compared with them in terms of quality.
Two-litre reserve canister
We have two 2-litre canisters on offer:
FuelFriend 2-litre canister
This transport canister can be used to transport your fuel.canisterwith a large opening, can be filled at the filling station with fuel nozzles.
Hünersdorff 2 liter fuel canister with integrated filler neck
This standard Hünersdorff canister does not have the large cap and must therefore be filled with a funnel. funnel but there is a special feature under its small cap: if you unscrew the cap, there is a small snorkel underneath. This integrated filler neck is pulled out of the canister and the fuel can be filled cleanly into the tank. The Hünersdorff 2 liter canister also has a strap to securely fasten the canister, which the 2 liter "FuelFriend" does not have.
Spare canister 3 liters
The 3 liter transport petrol can has the classic canister shape. However, even this three-liter canister still fits in the glove compartment of a Vespa PX Lusso or LML Star. The spare canister has to be turned vertically for this - but the canisters are leak-proof and three liters of spare petrol are extremely reassuring on a scooter tour!

Practical addition
This is not meant to be a "Do you need leather care for your new shoe? - scam": This really is a helpful and practical addition to the spare canister.
Safety filler neck
The matching safety filler neckor to put it in Hünersdorff terms "filling system for fuel" fits all standard Hünersdorff canisters from 1 liter to 20 liters: Petrol canister
Safe and clean thanks to automatic venting
It's annoying when the petrol/oil mixture spills when filling up! As well as being an unnecessary waste from an ecological and economic point of view, it also damages the scooter's paintwork. This is what happens to you with this fuel filler neck for canisters no more. The special feature is quickly explained: the filler neck is equipped with an automatic vent. This feature is also known from racing: If you turn the canister, the cap holds absolutely tight. Only when you press the filler neck onto the tank does the cap open and the fuel flows quickly into the tank. The moment you release the pressure from the nozzle, the canister immediately closes again reliably - without dripping.
The air for venting flows through the central opening, while the gasoline flows into the tank through the side openings. If the pressure is reduced, the rubber seal reliably prevents dripping.
