Test Vespa GTS suspension struts

Scooter & Sport Motorbike Magazine Tests Shock Absorbers for Vespa GTS

In the current issue 6.2018, Scooter & Sport tests four shock absorbers for Vespa GTS models. One clearly stands out and reflects our opinion: The original Vespa GTS suspension is definitely "improvable".

bgm Shock Absorbers: Editor's Recommendation

In the test from Scooter & Sport Magazine in issue 6.2018, our bgm shock absorbers were also thoroughly tested. The magazine praises the bgm shock absorbers for Vespa GTS and awards the seal "Editor's Recommendation": "Installation: trouble-free, fits perfectly". Other test impressions of the front shock absorber, "bgm PRO F16 Competition", include that the "damping extracts a lot from the short working stroke of a Vespa's short swingarm". And our bgm shock absorber "handles all the usual bumps, cross joints, and shocks in everyday German asphalt life. Editor's setting tip: "Compression in the middle and rebound in the harder range worked best." At the rear, the testers installed the more affordable version "bgm R1 Sport". The bgm shock absorbers were "the most comfortable rear shock absorbers in this comparison" and "allow the otherwise stiff drive set swingarm to move in unexpected ways". Conclusion: "Editor's Recommendation". The overall impression is that the bgm shock absorbers from Scooter Center are "clearly the comfort winners". "However, the bgm shock absorbers also maintain their composure in fast sections with demanding bumps."
These shock absorbers were obviously developed and tuned by people with Vespa experience.
We especially agree with the last sentence from Scooter & Sport Magazine about our GTS suspension: "These shock absorbers were obviously developed and tuned by people with Vespa experience."
