We have the (R)ollersack *original* from Sabine as a brand new addition to our program. Sabine is a scooter rider herself and discovered a need for specific travel bags for scooters during her travels and meetings. Now that she couldn't find anything that satisfied her, she used her sewing skills to develop a bag herself that was tailored to the needs of every scooter rider. The focus was on functionality, the bag had to fit well in the step-through, be secure and easy to attach without damaging the paintwork. In addition, the usual run luggage should fit in well and everything should be modular so that the system can be expanded. Sabine achieved this perfectly and we were able to convince her to launch a small series manufactured in Europe with us. In contrast, all other (R)ollersack bags are *original* and made by hand to customer specifications. For an independent practical test, I asked our friend Atze to keep an eye on it. As a globetrotter with his Vespa and with over 72,000 km under his belt, he was the perfect candidate to give an expert opinion on suitable scooter luggage.
For every scooter
The scooter bag was designed according to the dimensions and special features of a scooter, making it easier to ride and reach the brakes without anything getting in the way. Maintaining stability without carrying extra weight at the front or rear. Of course, it also fits Vespa GTS & Co. However, the strap for attaching it to the handlebars cannot be used.
Details
In addition, the packing cords that secure the bag to the scooter are attached at strategic points without the need for additional luggage carriers or extra hooks.

How do I pack my bag? First of all, it should be said that although the bag has a huge volume, you can't stuff everything into it. It also depends on the pack size of your tent and sleeping bag how you pack it best. As body size and fullness and also the riding position are very individual, everyone has to try it out for themselves, and you shouldn't necessarily pack at the last minute before your first tour. It is important that you do not exceed the width of the bag too much, especially at the front, otherwise you will have problems with the brakes. First you should carefully attach all the pockets to the bag when empty. When threading the Velcro through the strap loops, you can press the Velcro together slightly so that it is not so fiddly. Then place your tent vertically in the front of the bag. My tent is 57 cm high. If you are traveling without a tent, you should definitely ensure stability in the vertical position, possibly with a bag or packing bag with the approx. dimensions H 57-60, W 20 x, D 18. You can then pack the sleeping bag in the rounding. It is advisable to use a compression bag to achieve the smallest possible dimensions. If you have a sleeping mat with a very small pack size, this can also be stowed in the bag or under the lid. You can then pull the middle fasteners together to shape the bag. This should make the bag stable. Next, I would fill the top right-hand pocket. You should not put any hard items in here, otherwise you will encounter resistance at knee height when braking. If possible, only put clothing in here. The top left pocket is great for small items of clothing, a towel and toothbrush. You can also replace the upper pockets. You might like it better if you use the smaller pocket on the right-hand side. Now put the bag on the scooter and put it in the best position for you. The neck strap should already be attached and the loops for the luggage hook should be placed and tightened. If you have mounted luggage eyelets in the step-through, these are also a good option to keep the bag away from the brake. But it also holds very well without them. Now you can go for a test ride and test the comfort factor and repack if necessary.
