Vespa love that does good: 800 euros for a good cause!
What could be better than combining a passion for scooters with genuine charity? Shortly before Christmas, the
Vespafreunde Straubing e. V. proved that their heart beats not only for two-strokes, but also for people who need support.
Shortly before Christmas, the Vespafreunde Straubing e. V. donated 800 euros to the
Bettina Bräu Foundation with a donation of 800 euros. The amount was collected through an auction at the association's traditional pre-Christmas mulled wine get-together in the Hubertushalle in Straubing. The donation was ceremoniously handed over on December 22, 2025 by the President of the
Vespafreunde Straubing e. V., Harald Trautwein. The club members and guests took part in the auction with great commitment, the proceeds of which will now benefit the Bettina-Bräu-Stiftung. The auctioned items were generously provided by various sponsors, including the
Scooter Center Cologne.
Thanks to this willingness to donate, a considerable amount was raised, which underlines the social responsibility and community spirit of the association. With this campaign, Vespafreunde Straubing e. V. is sending out a strong signal of solidarity and social togetherness - in keeping with the club's motto: Riding together, helping together.
