Trieste is not only a beautiful port city, but also the home of a man whose work is followed by Vespa fans worldwide on Instagram: Piero from Vespa Remedy. Ferdi from Scooter Center set off to visit the workshop behind the famous account and find out what makes the "Remedy style" so special.
The story of Vespa Remedy began around seven years ago - as a traditional hobby. Piero started out restoring scooters for friends in his spare time. But word of quality gets around: within just six months, demand was so high that Piero was faced with the decision of a lifetime.
He quit his job repairing motorboats and dedicated himself 100% to restoring Vespas. After a year of transition, it was clear that his passion for the Italian cult scooters was not just a business, but his vocation.
If you follow Piero on Instagram at @vesparemedy will be familiar with the iconic photos. We wanted to know: How do you become so successful? Piero's answer is as honest as it is likeable:
"I just started posting photos of my work. I don't really know why people are so into it!"
But a closer look reveals the system behind his success: professionalism, continuity and authenticity.
Despite the Instagram hype, Vespa Remedy's goal remains down-to-earth: Customer satisfaction comes first. Whether it's a complete Vespa restoration, tuning projects or simple repairs - the work in Trieste is carried out with Italian passion and the utmost precision. Expanding? Perhaps. But only to the extent that the quality of the work does not suffer.
