The Parmakit W-Force cylinder series is designed for over 25HP ex works. Due to the diaphragm inlet directly on the cylinder, the necessary modifications to the motor housing are minimal. To mount the cylinders, only the foot mounting in the housing has to be enlarged.
The W-Force series has a very cleanly processed aluminium cylinder with Nikasil coating. The W-shaped inlet diaphragm is directly connected to the overflow pockets in the cylinder (boyesen ports). The coated VERTEX forged piston has a 1 mm thin steel ring. The modular head is CNC machined from solid steel for optimum heat dissipation and is very heavy. It is bolted to the cylinder at four additional points, so it is secured 8 times in total. The cylinder has four generously dimensioned main transfer ports and a support channel. The exhaust is divided in two parts.
The full power is, depending on the exhaust, mostly below 10000 rpm, the torque often reaches values above 20Nm. The used crankshaft and clutch should be of very high quality.
The W-Force cylinder is available in these versions:
- 60mm bore, 97mm connecting rod
- 60mm bore, 105mm connecting rod
The versions for 105mm connecting rod are longer at the base, so the otherwise necessary cylinder spacer is already 'built in'. The advantage of the longer connecting rod is that the housing of the 60mm versions does not have to be spindled out as deep and therefore remains more stable. Furthermore, the pre-compression is reduced and the necessary modifications to the engine housing for the adjustment of the overflow channels are greatly reduced. Also shafts with 54mm stroke can be installed, for this purpose the required thickness of the balancing gasket(s) / spacer must be determined individually.
Due to the large distance of the exhaust studs and the extended cross section, only exhaust systems manufactured accordingly will fit!
