Our trips to suppliers and customers take us to different corners of the world and of course we want to share our impressions and experiences with you. This year we went to the land of smiles and the absolute real scooterists: Thailand.
A paradise for classics
In the north of Thailand we started with a visit to our friend Piroj in Lampang. He is an official bgm Scooter Center dealer, a true Lambretta freak and a passionate collector.
We were allowed to take a look at his unique collection, which includes beautiful scooters, mostly in their original condition, as well as classic and touring scooters equipped with our bgmRT195 . What else could be missing? Almost every one of his scooters is fitted with our bgm shock absorbers and rims, which he also sells on to his friends and acquaintances.
He has imported many of his treasures directly from Europe, buthealso has one from India.Despite the language barrier, we got on very well. Of course, our shared passion for Lambretta was an advantage. We got to know his family and some of his friends, who are big scooter fans and often take part in scooter events in South Asia. We were thrilled to hear their stories of shared rides and spectacular events in the area. It was great to learn more about him and the scooter scene in Thailand. Museum in the mountains - Dough
Piroj didn't want to miss the opportunity toshowus the collection of a close friend(Dough) , whom we were unfortunately unable to meet in person. It was incredible. From great cars to fantastic originals of the rarest categories (SX200 and TV175 Series 1), everything was there. And it was all arranged like a museum - in a small village in the mountains of Thailand! Ein einzigartiger Anblick!
Buddha Scooter Shop - craftsmanship with heart
On Piroj's recommendation, we wanted to see one of the best workshops in Lampang live: our new friends from Buddha Scooter Shop.
The guys are enthusiastic Lambretta riders themselves, which is why we were all the more pleased that they have just installed a bgm chassis in their restored DL 125 with RT 195. Their restorations are of the highest quality and every Vespa and Lambretta rider is in good hands with them - they put their heart and soul into every scooter. It was very interesting to see an authentic workshop where our passion is shared. You can find everything your heart desires: NISA seat, bgm shock absorbers and much more!
