Delphine Nadjar, President of the Vespa Club Dauphinois, told us about this beautiful initiative to preserve this national industrial heritage. But let's put it all into context:

History of the Vespa Made in France

  • 1950: Foundation of the ACMA in Fourchambault
  • Production of over 360,000 Vespa scooters
  • Further models: TriVespa, Vespa 150 TAP, Vespa 400
  • 1954: 100,000th Vespa "Made in France"
  • 1958: 2,800 employees
  • Social facilities: Apartments, kindergartens, sports, art
  • 1961: Operations ceased, transition to Simca Industries
Project goal

Preservation of the 1907 masonry building on the Fruedela Vallée and recognition as a national cultural heritage site.

Long-term goal: Establishment of the French Vespa Museum!

Graphic exhibition

To raise awareness before the factory becomes an industrial wasteland:

  • 47 large-format panels
  • Colored historical photos & informative texts
  • Chronological and educational design


Crowdfunding & rewards

An online collection was launched to finance the exhibition panels.
