BGM PRO has given the successful BGM6550 gearshift claw a clear update. The successor BGM6555 has a redesigned detent profile. The result: the gears engage more precisely, shifting remains smooth and prevents any gear jumping. For maximum operational reliability, the BGM6555KT kit with reinforced shift spring and balls is also available.

Compared to many standard parts, the flanks of the BGM PRO SPORT shift claw have very tight tolerances. This means that the claw is guided precisely in the main shaft and effectively reduces shifting or tilting. The new detent profile also ensures a defined gear position and clean synchronization between claw and gears.
The BGM PRO SPORT gearshift claw is designed for the PK gearbox type, which uses the round type with 50 mm overall height. Round type means: the pins that engage in the gearwheel have a radius at the transition.
Note: In mixed assemblies, please always match the gearbox type (42xx vs 37xx) and the height of the shift claw.
The BGM PRO SPORT shift claw BGM6555 provides a precise detent profile, tight tolerances and high-quality hardening in a smallframe gearbox that should function reliably in everyday use and in sporty setups. If you want maximum security against gear jumping, use the BGM6555KT kit - tuned shift claw plus reinforced shift spring for full detent with light operating force.
