The carburetors of the same series differ only in their vehicle-specific equipment. However, this can easily be adapted to any new application. This means that a 20/20D can also be suitably converted for operation with a larger cylinder.

SEPARATE LUBRICATION
Carburettors for vehicles with separate lubrication can also be used on vehicles without separate lubrication without any problems.

TUNING
If a larger cross-section is to be used, the SI20/20D carburetors can easily be replaced with SI24/24E or SI26/26E series carburetors. Older vehicles fitted with a smaller carburetor, such as a 20/15 or 20/17 SI, can also be converted to a 20/20. In both cases, the jetting must be adjusted accordingly.

NOTE: All new SI carburetors are manufactured under license by Spaco in India. These carburetors have been used by Piaggio in series production for a long time. They are of the same high quality as the original Dell'Orto carburetors. They also undergo quality assurance at Dell'Orto and are therefore sometimes delivered packed in Dell'Orto boxes.
