The M1L 60 GTR is the latest creation from tuning guru Max Quattrini. The basis was the M1L 60, which was improved in many details. The 144 cc displacement (60 mm bore, 51 mm stroke) is still fed via a diaphragm direct intake. For even more power across the entire rev range, the cross-sectional area of the diaphragm has been significantly increased. In addition, the overflows are served directly (via so-called Boyesen ports) from the intake. The use of cast aluminium with ultra-hard Nikasil coating has of course remained.
The main overflow channels are split and offer an insane cross-section and a steering angle of about 127°. The exhaust features a control angle of 178° even in stock trim. In order to achieve the largest possible surface area and to optimise the scavenging behaviour, two secondary exhaust ducts have been introduced.
Bore: Ø60mm
Stroke: 51mm
Displacement: 144ccm
Steering angle: 127°/178
Recommended squeeze edge: 0,9mm
Spindling of the engine case necessary: Yes
Spindle dimensions: Ø64,5 with 9mm depth
Intake port inside: Ø34,8mm
Intake manifold outside: Ø42mm
The intake manifold, which is also included, is fitted with a flow optimising stuffer. The cylinder head has a central combustion chamber and is provided with a shoulder to center the head in the cylinder. The piston is fitted with a 1 mm thin ring. The power output of the cylinder is rated at 25-30 hp at the rear wheel.
PLEASE NOTE: The frame cut-out in the area of the intake manifold may have to be modified/extended.
