6 Dolomiti Lui Experience July 2025

The Lambretta LUI Experience is an exclusive meeting that focuses exclusively on the Lambretta lui models - these small, stylish and formerly notoriously slow models from Innocenti are enjoying ever-increasing popularity - thanks to the now quite extensive tuning options. Since its inception, the event has developed into a real cult meeting. It originally started with just ten participants, but has now blossomed into quite an official event with an international line-up. It usually takes place over three days and takes participants through breathtaking landscapes, mainly in Italy.

Organization

The event is organized by lui enthusiasts from the very beginning, including:

• Bruno Pisaniello from Scooter Italiano (Pordenone), a passionate LUI enthusiast and member of the Lambretta Club Friuli and the Lambretta Club d'Italia.
• Fabio Basso and Alan Casagrande from TV Scooter Garage (Nervesa della Battaglia, Treviso).
• Support will also come from the Rimini Lambretta Centre (RLC), which is known for its expertise in Lambretta restorations and tuning, as well as from partners such as Scooterismo.it and Luna Divisione Motori.

The organization changes, the starting point of the event is alternately in Pordenone or Treviso. The event is sponsored by Gori, Pinasco, the Rimini Lambretta Center, Parimor Cuppini and of course by us - the Scooter Center.

Route and highlights

The route leads through spectacular areas such as the Dolomites, Friuli and the Alpine foothills. An example from the fifth edition (2023):

• Day 1 and 2: Start in Tarvisio (Hotel il Cervo), rides over the Wurzen Pass to Austria (Villach, Landskron Castle with its famous Japanese macaques) and back to Italy.
• Day 3: Ride along the Pontebbana to Tolmezzo, across the Tagliamento river to Pordenone, where a grand finale grigliata with beer from Lambro-Motocarro will take place.
• The routes are planned in such a way that they do not overtax the LUI models, but still offer bends and passes that are fun to ride. There are also competitions such as acceleration races or cornering, where the RLC guys often shine with their tuned LUIs.

Technical details

The LUI models that take part range from original 75cc models to modern tuned variants. Here are some examples:

• 80cc aluminum kit (piston-ported) from Casa Lambretta as a new entrant.

Atmosphere

The LUI Experience is like a family get-together with musical and gastronomic entertainment. Good food, beer and a relaxed atmosphere. The number of participants is deliberately limited to preserve the family atmosphere. But see for yourself:
