The Vespa professionals Egig from South Tyrol and Fabbri Racing from near Rimini have been working closely together for a long time. Together they have developed a fantastic high-end engine case for the Vespa Smallframe models.
This is primarily designed for the M200 cylinders from Quattrini, but has a very large cylinder base sealing surface so that other cylinders can also be used.
From the factory, the housing has two cylinder porting (M200 + 93x120mm).
As crankshaft any shaft can be used that can also be used for the Quattrini M200 engine case. The Egig/Fabbri case is factory spindled with a crankcase diameter of Ø93mm (Ø98mm in the connecting rod area). However, it offers sufficient material to be expanded to Ø97/102mm. Thus strokes up to 65mm can be realized (series M200= 56.5mm).
Crankcase diameter: cheek area: 93mm, connecting rod area: 98mm (expandable to Ø97/102mm)
Crankcase width: 46mm (like Quattrini M200)
Perforated cylinder: Quattrini M200 and 93x120mm
Reinforced swingarm for more stability
Possible oil filling quantity 800ml
Fan wheel cover face 2mm higher
Shock absorber mount with 10mm offset to the rear (offers more space for bolting the shift arm)
Shift arm with needle bearings and shaft seal (instead of O-ring)
Externally replaceable auxiliary shaft
Gearbox alignment can be checked from outside
Optionally usable central diaphragm inlet (housing must be milled out for this purpose)
Required bearings and shaft seals:
Oil seals EGIG/FABBRI crankshaft:20x35x7mm; 24x35x7mm
2x bearing crankshaft: 25x52x15mm
Bearing drive shaft/brake drum: 20x47x14mm (6204)
Bearing drive shaft: 16x22x12mm
Bearing auxiliary shaft: 10x30x9mm (6200)
Bearing auxiliary shaft clutch side: 25x47x8mm (16005)
Seal ring shift arm: 10x18x4mm
Bearing shifting arm: 10x14x10mm
Ideal base for an extremely powerful and durable setup e.g. with M200S, Kingwelle BFA244 cylinder or similar.
