This not only goes beyond the scope of the usual displacement classes that have been installed in these vehicles up to now, but despite the enormous increase in displacement and power, it is extremely solid both conceptually and in terms of craftsmanship.
EXHAUST
The Quattrini exhaust ("la sua"), specially manufactured for the 200cc kit, has an enormous stud bolt distance of 66 mm on the cylinder flange to match the kit. This means that this exhaust does not fit any other common cylinders. The power curve is very linear and broadband. It offers enormous thrust right from the bottom of the rev range, which does not diminish above 8000 rpm. Thanks to its special design, the luggage compartment of the PV/ET3 models does not need to be removed or modified. However, if it is to be fitted in a PK chassis, the side separator plate must be cut out.
As the exhaust is made of only 0.8 mm thin sheet steel, it has a typical 2-stroke tinny sound and is not TÜV-compliant in terms of noise level. However, wrapping the resonance body with heat protection tape effectively minimizes the higher frequencies.
