The size of the reflecting surface must be

• before EZ 17.06.2003 at least 60cm² (for round mirrors the diameter greater-or-equal 88 mm)
• after EZ 17.6.2003 at least 69cm² (for round mirrors the diameter greater-or-equal 94 mm)

TEST MARK:
Mirrors with test marks automatically fulfil all the above conditions.

• Mirrors with test marks must be fitted to vehicles which are approved according to EC law (from 01.10.2005).
• Vehicles with ABE approval (before 01.10.2005) must only use mirrors which meet the above criteria.
